Browlift

The popularity of brow lifting has skyrocketed in the recent years with the introduction of botulinum toxin injections such as Botox, Jeuveau, Dysport, etc. These injections work to smooth the wrinkles of the forehead and furrow lines that so often cause patients to look aged or angry. Dr. Bill strongly prefers to produce subtle enhancement and lifting of the brow using botulinum toxins rather than surgery. A surgical browlift that is raised too high produces a very unnatural and surprised look, and a high hairline masculinizes the female face. Furthermore, complications relating to brow lift incisions, even incisions from endoscopic or "minimal incision" brow lifts, are frequent, with hair loss around the scars and numbness to the forehead being common. Dr. Bill typically reserves surgical brow lift procedures for patients with drastic asymmetries in height between the right and left eyebrows.
